Dear Reader,

Not all news are bad news!

This October I decided to focus my sparce energy on a feel good story about saving our wildlife. I like to do these once in a while to break the vicious cycle of depressive explainers that are the hallmark of my portfolio. They are also an opportunity to shine a light on amazing projects that are moving the needle against mass extinction.

My most successful example of this was a story titled “Return of the Bison”, which describes how the European Bison is being successfully reintroduced in the United Kingdom — a thousand years after these animals were made extinct in the British Isles.

To this day it is my second most viewed story with 1.3 thousand views.

My latest stories

Last June, the status of the Iberian Lynx — one of the most iconic species of the Iberian Peninsula — was updated. And I was finally able to find the time to write about it in October, after having teased it in my August wrap-up.
